The Artist Statement

As an artist,  the artist statement is one of the most essential pieces to connect with the audience viewing your work. From what I've experienced, the artist statement is one of the most difficult things to write. It has to reiterate what exactly your work is trying to say without giving to much away.     Hi Rossie, I think you might like some works from Andrew DeCaen at http://andrewdecaen.com/ - His work deals with eating and food consumption, even though it's quite different from your current approach, but I think this may help you get some ideas for future projects. Cheers.
