The Artist Statement
As an artist, the artist statement is one of the most essential pieces to connect with the audience viewing your work. From what I've experienced, the artist statement is one of the most difficult things to write. It has to reiterate what exactly your work is trying to say without giving to much away. Here is an website that I have found helpful in creating this piece to the puzzle that is my artist portfolio.http://www.bluecanvas.com/magazine/articles/maa-iss10
